Smoke Alarm Subsidy Scheme

The NSW Government is providing $2 million over three years to subsidise the purchase of specialised smoke alarms for people who are deaf, deaf blind or hard of hearing.

Funding boost to help people with a disability live more independently

Minister Andrew Constance has announced the state-wide expansion of a program to help people with a disability live more independently in the community. $4.26 million is being delivered to service providers across NSW for the Independent Living Support Initiative.
