For individuals, families and carers
We provide services and support for older people, people with disability, and their families and carers to help them to live more independently.
For people with disability
Our services include:- Early intervention for children and young people
- Learning new skills for work or leisure
- Everyday living support, including therapy, case management and behaviour support
- Somewhere to live
- Advocacy and information services
For older people
Our services include:- Help at home, including personal care, domestic tasks and meals
- Home modifications
- Community transport
- Advocacy services for older people
- Active ageing programs and events
- Financial support and concessions, including NSW Seniors Card
We do not provide aged care services for people who can no longer live in their own home. Aged care services are the responsibility of the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
For carers
Our services include:- Respite and support for carers
- Training for parents of children with an intellectual disability
- Help in managing challenging behaviour
- Advocacy and information services
- Support groups and networks
- Carers Advisory Council (PDF).
For the community
- Raising community awareness about issues that affect older people
- Promoting acceptance and inclusion of people with disability
